Do you offer delivery?
No, we do not offer delivery. We are located in Tampa, Florida.
Arrangements can be made to meet you or a flight nanny (arranged by the buyer) at Tampa Inernational Airport or St Pete-Clearwater International Airport for a $100 fee.
Are your puppies AKC certified?
- No, the American Kennel Club (AKC) does not recognize Bernedoodles as a breed.
Health Guarantee
- The puppy will have age-appropriate deworming and vaccinations at the time of delivery, along with proof of a veterinary check completed between 7 and 8 weeks of age.
- The puppy is guaranteed against preventable illnesses for 72 hours (3 days) after leaving the Seller’s care. If health issues arise within this period, the Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian; otherwise, the guarantee is void. Should two independent veterinarians confirm the puppy's poor health, with concurrence from our veterinarian, the Buyer may choose to (a) keep the puppy and assume all care costs, or (b) return the puppy for a refund of the purchase price. All incurred costs are the Buyer’s responsibility. If the Buyer decides to keep the puppy, the Seller is released from any future liability. No cash refunds will be issued after the 72-hour warranty period.
- The Seller guarantees the puppy to be free from life-threatening or debilitating congenital or hereditary defects for one year from the date of birth, unless otherwise disclosed in this agreement. This is a limited one-year guarantee and there is no guarantee against negligence or injury.
- There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee. The seller is not responsible for stress-related illness such as hypoglycemia, colds, coccidia, giardia, nor kennel cough. Genetic mutations that are common in the breed but not proven to cause health issues (e.g. CDDY/IVVD) are not covered under this warranty.
- This health warranty contract is null and void if the dog becomes pregnant.
Buyer’s Responsibiliy
- The puppy must receive regular veterinary care, including checkups, worming, heartworm prevention, and continuation of the vaccination series.
- The puppy must be fed quality food and provided fresh water daily to ensure it is well-nourished and resistant to sickness.
- The puppy must be housed in suitable shelter typical for its breed and protected from extreme weather conditions.
What puppy food is recommended?
Our puppies have been transitioned from mother's milk to high quality Farmina N&D Prime Chicken & Pomegranate Mini Puppy Dry dog food. We recommend continuing to feed the puppy the same food. If you wish to switch to a different brand, slowly transition over 10-14 days. Start by mixing 75% of your puppy's current food with 25% of the new food. Gradually increase the amount of new food while decreasing the amount of old food.
What are furnishings?
"Furnishings" refer to the longer hair around the eyebrows, muzzle, and beard. Poodles are furnished (F/F) while Bernese Mountain Dogs are unfunished (f/f). Since dogs inherit one gene from each parent, most first generation (F1) doodles inherit one furnishing gene (F/f), which still results in a furnished doodle, since Furnishings are a dominant trait.
Our dam Jada is a second generation Mini Bernedoodle (F2) with both of her parents being Bernedoodles. She is unfurnished and does not have the traditional doodle look. However, since she was bred with a poodle, all puppies will be furnished (F/f) and have the typical doodle look with the advantage of guaranteeing a smaller size than an F1 doodle with both parents being close to 40 lbs.
Spay/Neuter Agreement
The Buyer agrees to spay or neuter the puppy by 12 months, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Proof of this procedure must be provided to the Breeder. In the event of a litigation for breach of this agreement, the Buyer will assume all related legal fees.
Deposit
The deposit is due upon signing the contract and is non-refundable. Unsolicited payment of a deposit does not automatically establish a purchase agreement.
Non-Payment: If the deposit is not received within 5 days of signing the purchase agreement, the puppy may be offered for sale to another Buyer, voiding the contract.
No-Show: If the puppy is not picked up within 3 days after the stated pick-up date, and no alternative arrangements are made in writing (e.g., via email or text message), the puppy may be offered for sale to another Buyer, voiding this contract. The deposit will not be refunded in the event of a no-show.
